Okay, so we are guilty too of hyping Apple Computer products, but with the new iPod mini range and price cuts, what's not to love about Apple at the moment?

Apple's introduction of the new iPod shuffle earlier this year signalled a refresh of the iPod range. The 4Gig iPod Mini is for sale at $199 which is $50 off the previous retail price.

The new slim 30GB iPod photo at just $349 lets music lovers enjoy their iPod in full colour, including album artwork along with their personal photo library," said Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive. "And now you can import photos from your digital camera directly into iPod photo with the optional iPod Camera Connector."

Imported photos are immediately viewable on the iPod's colour screen, and can also be brought back to iPhoto on the Mac or various photo applications on the PC.

Nobody is forced to buy Apple or use their music service. Plenty of choice out there, but I personally prefer Apple products for their style and branding.

Sure I am buying into a "brand" but so what, it goes with my branded handbags, branded shoes, branded jackets etc etc
