Following last week's release of the rough "test sample" images, which showed the taller screen the new iPhone is set to possess, a new image has emerged showing the longer screen in much better detail with the new centre, front camera.
Also the Wall Street Journal is reporting today the new iPhone 5 will feature a thinner screen due the the new in-cell touch technology. The actual touch sensors are placed directly into the LCD, making the separate touch screen layer redundant.
Sharp Corp, Japan Display Inc and LG are producing the panels (according to sources) for delivery later this year. There have been quality control issues with the mass production of the glass but things are back on track.
